Switch on sexual functioning

Loss of libido is a common and distressing side-effect of many schizophrenia treatments and a contributory factor to patient withdrawal from treatment.

• Patients generally do not experience reduced libido, erectile dysfunction or anorgasmia due to Serdolect (ref. 1)
• 22% of male Serdolect patients experience a decreased ejaculatory volume (DEV) (ref. 1)
• However, a discontinutation rate of 3% due to DEV indicates that DEV is not a barrier to continuing treatment (ref. 1)
